Phlox are a diverse group of plants available in an array of heights, colors, and growth habits. Tall varieties are excellent for cut flowers. Low, creeping varieties make a beautiful ground cover at the forefront of a border or covering a slope. Individual plants look great tucked into a rock garden or spilling over the side of a planter. All types attract butterflies and beneficial pollinators to the garden. Doesn’t like ‘wet feet’, so make sure soil is well drained.
